The end of last week was bitter sweet for me. On Monday or Tuesday morning I found out that one of my next door neighbors, when growing up, pasted away. Her son and I were really cool. So Friday was the funeral. I was able to see most of the families from the street I grew up on, that was nice. But while at the funeral, I also found out that the neighbor across the street was burying his wife the same day. I’m like WHAT!! So it was good seeing the people who watched me grow and develop. But it was hard realizing that the people who seemed so strong growing up are now now becoming close to the latter days of their lives. It was a little sobering. I really didn’t want to continue to have “reunions” at funerals so I think I’m going to get a neighborhood get together or something like that. We’ll see…

The sweet is the Miracle Crusade my church held on Thursday and Friday. Wow! Chief Apostle Sharon Edmond came and delivered the word of the Lord with much power and demonstration. People who came in with health, mental and spiritual issues, left with a new lease on life. Nothing makes me happier or more excited than seeing God do what he does best…restore!

So out of loss of life came new life. As one person once told me “the big wheel keeps on turning”….turn baby turn…

until then…
