It’s no secret that today’s ecomony has most people pinching pennies and cutting back on outside entertainment. That being said, you don’t want to lose out on the down time in a family…trust me a stressed out family is not a happy family.
I don’t like to carry change in my pocket so I usually drop it on my nightstand or a jar or something. One day I counted it and it was over $150 dollars. I was well pleased. So I got this idea that we use one of those change counters and the entire family puts their extra change in the kitty. And when we want to do something like movies or dinner we use that money for our outing.
Above was our first go at the experimnet. I still say most of that change is mine, but in the jar was forty plus dollars and we used that to go see “The Last Airbender.” I was happy for our efforts and the fruit of them, but I hated that we used it on a film that was awful…just awful. I was going to write a review of it on this blog, but didn’t want to waste the time….sorry I digress.
So the jar now has ten cents to start our next endeavor. Stress free fun, what more can you ask for!
